Clash Detection
Geometric clash detection and BCF round-trip for your own model — the coordination step, not the markup step. Drop an IFC (elements auto-classify into Architecture, Structure, Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing) and hit Detect: a broad phase finds world-AABB overlaps beyond a tolerance, and Precise runs triangle-level SAT over those candidates. Detection compares REGISTERED elements — an IFC registers each element individually, while an OBJ/STEP/glTF import registers as one object, so for those drop one model per discipline and clash them against each other. Click a result to select the clashing pair and frame the camera on the overlap, mark it open or resolved, raise it as an issue, then Export .bcfzip to hand the topics — with viewpoints and IfcGuid components — to Navisworks, Solibri, Revit or BIMcollab, and import their replies back. Drop each discipline model separately to federate them under one shared origin. Extends the issue-coordination plate, so the whole markup, measure, isolate and issue toolset comes with it. Alongside the BCF round trip, the run prints as a PDF clash report: what was compared and at what tolerance, then every clash ordered by overlap volume with its element pair, centre, overlap box and status — the half of the exchange a human reads.
